Luscious Lotion — Tallow Moisturiser for Extra Sensitive Skin

Use this Luscious Lotion tallow moisturiser on your face AND body. Please note consistency may vary due to the addition of Shea Butter — the efficacy is not affected.

Handmade and great for sensitive skin! You will notice that this tallow moisturiser does not contain water — which means you are getting more bang for your buck! Notice a smooth complexion almost immediately. Amazing for sensitive skin and safe enough for children.

A great all-rounder — using triple rendered, grass-fed beef tallow, this is a dense cream. Since there are no synthetics or petrochemicals, the cream will take a few minutes to absorb into your skin — the way it should be, actually. We have been fooled into thinking that creams are supposed to absorb instantly.

If you have very thirsty skin we recommend this product for a deep moisturising effect. With the added ingredient of tea tree essential oil — known as antibacterial — this cream can help with acne, heal wounds, treat fungus and inflammation. Customers have been known to apply this to their feet to fight tinea.

The Power of Tallow Vitamins

Tallow is vitamin and nutrient rich, containing vitamins A, D, E, and K. All of these vitamins have different properties beneficial to your skin.

Vitamin A is commonly known to smooth wrinkles, lighten sunspots, calm acne, balance oil, and more. When vitamin A is used on the skin, it promotes the production of collagen, which helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin A also supports the healthy function of your sebaceous glands.

Vitamin D is common in tallow and exists in our bodies naturally. As a topical skincare product, vitamin D has been known to restore vibrancy in the skin. It is an antioxidant that can help stop damage to your skin created by free radicals. Vitamin D has also been shown to have antimicrobial properties, which help improve your skin's natural defences, help repair cells, and rebuild your skin's barrier.

Vitamin E is also prevalent in tallow and has been shown to prevent collagen breakdown. Vitamin E is fat-soluble and can easily penetrate the layers of your dermis to deeply protect and repair your skin. It is also extremely moisturising and will help your skin retain the moisture it needs to look and feel its best.

Vitamin K is known as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It will help protect your skin and keep it looking its best. Vitamin K is also ideal for soothing skin ailments because it helps speed up the recovery time of certain skin injuries, such as cracks in the skin.
