Using Tallow Pine transports you deep into a pine forest after summer rain, where the warm, steamy air is rich with the fresh, earthy scent of pine and wood. With the nourishing goodness of tallow and the invigorating character of pine tar, this total body and shampoo bar leaves you feeling clean, refreshed and connected to nature.

Handmade in Australia, Tallow Pine is built on beef tallow paired with castor oil for a dense, creamy lather. Pine tar, pine gum spirits and pine oil give the bar its distinctive smoky, resinous pine character. Tea tree oil and Rosemary complements the fresh botanical blend, while white kaolin clay helps lift everyday oil and buildup.

No SLS, no silicones and no plastic bottle.

Why pine tar?

Pine tar has a long history of use in traditional soaps and bathing preparations. It gives Tallow Pine its distinctive smoky, resinous character and deep, outdoors-inspired aroma.

Combined with beef tallow, castor oil and white kaolin clay, it creates a hardworking solid bar for cleansing hair and body. Use it to wash away everyday oil, sweat and product buildup without relying on a plastic bottle.

Why it lasts longer

Bottled shampoo contains a high proportion of water. This concentrated solid format is designed to last, helping replace multiple plastic bottles over time.

How to use

Wet your hair, rub the bar between your palms or directly on your hair, work into a lather and rinse. For your body, lather the bar and wash as usual.

A note for switchers

If you have been using commercial shampoo, your hair may feel different for the first few washes while you find the routine that works best for you.

How to condition your hair

There are a few options:

1. Use conditioner if needed. Some people do not use conditioner with this shampoo bar.
2. Try an apple cider vinegar rinse. Mix it in a spray bottle, apply to your hair, leave for a few minutes and rinse, or leave it on and air dry.
   • For dry hair: 2–3 teaspoons ACV in 1 cup distilled water
   • For normal hair: 5 teaspoons ACV in 1 cup distilled water
3. You may not need anything else. Especially with short hair, the shampoo bar alone may be sufficient.
