How to start a fire - basics:

• Choose Your Fire Spot

  Use a clean, safe fire ring, fireplace, or wood-burning stove. 

• Set the Base

  Place a few small twigs or pieces of bark on the ground or fire surface to lift your fire starter off the base. This improves airflow.

• Place Your Delizia Naturally Fire Starter

  Position one fire starter in the centre of your base. These starters are designed to ignite easily and burn long enough to light larger wood.

• Add Kindling Around the Starter

  Arrange small sticks, wood chips or kindling around the fire starter in a teepee or crisscross shape. Leave airflow gaps.

• Light the Fire Starter

  Use a match or lighter to ignite the edges of the fire starter. Let the natural wax and herbs catch flame — enjoy the gentle scent as it burns.

• Feed the Fire

  As the kindling begins to burn, gradually add larger wood pieces. Do not smother the flame — allow air to flow freely.

• Tend the Flame

  Monitor your fire and add logs as needed. Once it’s established, sit back and enjoy the cozy atmosphere — naturally.
