This bar of soap, with Tallow, is designed to shampoo your hair, is handmade, and replaces your shampoo in a plastic bottle!

Our Tallow Shampoo Bar is a solid, plastic-free alternative to conventional liquid shampoos. Handmade in Australia, it combines tallow with coconut oil to create a gentle lather that effectively cleanses the hair and scalp. The bar's compact form ensures a longer-lasting product compared to bottled shampoos, which often contain a high percentage of water.

How: Just lather it up in your hands and rub into your hair. Or you may like to rub the soap directly on your hair and create a rich lather.

Want to know a secret? you can even use this for your body, so it’s really a two in one bar. It will last much longer than your shampoo in a bottle as it is a solid bar and is not made from mostly water like bottled shampoo.

If you have been using commercially bought shampoo for a period of time, please allow for an adjustment period in using this shampoo bar for your hair.

How to condition your hair. There are a few options to try to condition your hair

1. Use conditioner if needed. (Some people do not use conditioner with this shampoo bar at all).

2. Some people choose to use an Apple Cider Vinegar (the vinegar) rinse on their hair.

For Dry Hair:

Mix 2-3 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 cup of  distilled water

For Normal Hair:

Mix 5 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 cup of distilled water

Mix this up and place in a spray bottle for easy application. If you feel this is not strong enough or too weak, then keep adding/reducing the vinegar to change the ratio as needed.

(place in a spray bottle, spray on your hair, leave for a few minutes, then rinse off, if you can it will be even better if you leave it on your hair and air dry).

Important note: There may be a transition period when moving from commercial liquid shampoos and conditioners, the hair may feel a little heavy for a few weeks, this is the normal detoxification process of your hair and scalp. Some people have reported that this process has taken up to three months to have the hair and scalp adjust It is up to you how long you would like to try using the shampoo bar before you see results. 3. You may not need anything else on your hair to condition it, even the ACV rinse, - especially if you have short hair, our shampoo bar is sufficient.

Each bar weighs approximately 120-130G NET, but as it is hand-cut the shape and appearance may be irregular.
